Derivative Calculator is provided free of charge for study and reference. You may use it for personal, educational and commercial work, and you may quote its explanations with attribution.
No warranty
The calculator is offered as it is, without warranty of any kind. The engine is tested against numerical differentiation and every published example is machine-checked, but no software is free of error. Do not rely on a result for anything consequential without checking it yourself.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or present it as your own product. Automated access to the pages is fine at a courteous rate.
Content and ownership
The explanations, worked examples and source code are the work of the site's maintainers. Mathematical results themselves are not owned by anyone; the wording, layout and code are.
